The Process

At Bear Paw Painters we understand that hiring a painting contractor can be a stressful and frustrating experience. From start to finish, you will be supplied with the full details of your job, so that you can be confident your home is being cared for by professionals who don’t cut corners.

Free Written Proposal
When you contact us, we will come out and supply you with a customized proposal detailing all the specifics of your job. This proposal will clearly explain the scope of the work to be performed. It will specify products, application methods, number of coats, areas to be painted, specific individual requests and details, pricing and payment information.

Knowing the total scope of the work enables you to carefully evaluate the different bids you may receive and make an educated decision that is not based solely on price.

Upon receiving a signed copy of the proposal and deposit, we will secure your spot on our calendar.

We will contact you seven to ten days prior to beginning the job to confirm your color selections. If you need help selecting colors, we offer a very reasonable color consultation service that will supply you with color assistance and samples. Two days before the crew begins your job, we will contact you and confirm their time of arrival.

When the Bear Paw Painters crew arrives at your home, our onsite foreman will introduce themselves and the crew to you. They will review with you the written proposal, complete a pre-job walk around, and ask for any specific details or requirements that you may have for your home. They will confirm with you their commitment to do an excellent job.

Daily Update
At the end of every day, the onsite foreman will review the progress of the job with you. You will be able to discuss any concerns, questions, or specific issues at that time.

On the day we plan to complete the job, our foreman will schedule a walk around with you to evaluate the job and identify any missed areas.  A punch list for the crew will be developed to complete to ensure that every expectation has been met, if not exceeded, before we leave.

Once you have signed off on the completed punch list, the crew will ask you to complete a customer comment card.

"Bear Paw Painters came into my home to paint my living room, dining room, kitchen and hall.  Erin did a wonderful job, I would recommend this company to all of my friends and neighbors.  If you want a professional job done by a company that is prompt ,respectful, kind, enjoys what that do for a living then I would highly recommend Bear Paw Painters. I know I will call them again in a heart beat."

"I recently bought a condo and the interior walls desperately needed attention. I didn't have time to paint so I sought several estimates. Bear Paw Painters gave me a fair estimate and worked with me on different color schemes. It's a very professional company and the painters were extremely knowledgable. The work was completed on time and exceeded my expectations. I was a painter in college and know what quality work is. I will definitely hire Bear Paw Painters again for exterior work in the spring and recommend their services to my friends. Hire them and I guarantee you won't be disappointed!"

"We had a lot of fun during the repainting. The crew was very pleasant to work with. We joked and laughed a lot. But with Bear Paw, the actual painting was a very serious business. I was impressed that they did so many little extras like patching, repairing and touching up. This job was an interior repainting, and I will certainly call Bear Paw again when the exterior need to be done this spring."
